NFDI4Immuno's Yearly ALL-HANDS Meeting took place in Berlin.

The NFDI BioMed consortium held its annual meeting in Berlin, bringing together members from across Germany to strengthen collaboration and strategic planning. Key goals included increasing productivity across task areas and working groups, defining a joint software concept, and identifying potential bottlenecks with corresponding solutions. In addition to the productive sessions, social dinners and informal exchanges supported team building and deepened connections among the geographically distributed members.

November, 2024

NFDI4Immuno participates at the NFDI BioMed Workshop in Heidelberg

In November 2024, over 50 experts from five NFDI consortia—GHGA, NFDI4BIOIMAGE, NFDI4Health, NFDI4Immuno, and NFDI4Microbiota—gathered in Heidelberg for the first NFDI BioMed workshop. The event focused on aligning key concepts in biomedical research data management and identifying practical areas for collaboration. Highlights included in-depth sessions on data models, infrastructure, regulations, and training, as well as a Barcamp format that produced nine actionable use cases. Several discussions have already led to active working groups within the initiative.

NDFI4Immuno is recommended for funding.

The Expert Group responded positively to the NFDI4Immuno proposal and recommended that the consortium be funded. We are happy and proud to see our hard work coming to fruition.
