In November 2024, over 50 experts from five NFDI consortia\u2014GHGA, NFDI4BIOIMAGE, NFDI4Health, NFDI4Immuno, and NFDI4Microbiota\u2014gathered in Heidelberg for the first NFDI BioMed workshop. The event focused on aligning key concepts in biomedical research data management and identifying practical areas for collaboration. Highlights included in-depth sessions on data models, infrastructure, regulations, and training, as well as a Barcamp format that produced nine actionable use cases.
